Dallas Moore is on of the very last true Outlaws still out there doing it the Outlaw way, and leave it to him to play tribute to one of the best and most underrated writers in country with this tribute to the great Billie Gant. Billie is known by some as the “Ambassador of Outlaw Country” and was around with all the greats in the Outlaw heyday. Those who know, they know Billie Gant is the real deal.

When Saturday morning dawned, banks of clouds filled with rain made their presence known throughout downtown Bristol. None of which deterred those who attended Saturday’s Rhythm & Roots festival.

Indeed, day two of the 21st Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion proved quite soggy. Particularly during its opening early afternoon hours, rain curtailed crowd sizes during outdoor performances.
