Veteran country outlaw Dallas Moore is ready to drop a new album in April, but he's giving The Boot's readers a sneak peek. "The Rain," the title track of and lead song from the singer and songwriter's next record, is premiering exclusively on The Boot

Dallas Moore spent most of last year on the road, playing 337 shows. With a wife and two-year-old daughter at home, Moore struggles with being away on the reflective tune “Everything But You,” which Billboard premieres exclusively today (Aug. 29).

On the track, Moore laments of his dreams that keep him away from the ones he loves. Alongside soaring pedal steel and string features and Moore’s gruff vocals, the emotion is felt on “Everything But You.” The video was filmed in Nashville and stars Moore, alongside his wife, Jenna Danielle Moore, and their daughter, Victory Lee Moore.
